박종호 Jongho Park

Guitarist Jongho Park was born in South Korea and started playing classical guitar at the age of 5.

He majored in classical guitar at Seoul Arts High School and graduated from the Korean National University of Arts with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Ecole normale de Musique de Paris.

He received class with Maestro Alvaro Pierri, David Rusell, Carlo Domeniconi, Roberto Aussel, Pavel Steidl and etc.

He won the 1st prize from Korea Guitar Association Competition, Korea National Guitar Competition and etc.

In addition to many solo concerts, he played in various concerts with soprano Jo Su-mi, Shin Young-ok, Kathleen Kim, Yongjae O’Neill, and others.

In 2012, he released his first solo album, “Asturias: Legend”, on the DECCA label for the first time as a Korean classical guitarist.

He participated in the “Winter Journey” album by violist Richard Yongjae O’Neill, recorded Schubert’s Arpeggio Sonata, and participated in the “Serenata Notturno” album by violinist Kim Ji-yeon to play high-quality performances.

He also participated in Kathleen Kim’s “Con Amores” album in 2018 and baritone Julian Kim’s “Italiana” album in 2019.

Recently, He is continuing his various performances with solo and ensembles.

He is currently teaching at Yewon Arts School, Seoul Arts High School, and Seoul National University.
